On 22.3. no attack made on account of engine trouble, course 1600, speed 14 knots. On 4.4. T 5 fired (and missed) at 7,000 GRT, 1800, speed 17 knots. (Circle runner and end of run detonator). On 7.4. 5 torpedoes fired at 7,000 GRT, 2950, speed 9 knots, 2 hits, no effect. Steamer continued passage without zig-zags. Possibly decoy. Afterwards destroyer and submarine chaser unit, slight night air activity. |
