21.43 1)  Own weather aircraft fly on 7 July between 04.30 and 08.30 hours U-boat reconnaissance in area AB 87 to AB 72.  Group Trutz and returning boats during this time remain submerged, so that enemy boats may be detected.
  2)  During submerged cruise careful listening, regular reception of very low frequency and frequent all around sweeps, so that nothing can pass unseen in visual range.  See Standing Order No. 8.

  3).  Western 6 boats remain submerged from 04.00 to 16.30 hours, eastern boats from 16.00 hours to 04.30 hours.
